StrategyManager

Strategy registration, weighted allocation, net NAV, and performance-fee settlement.

See the strategy deployment diagram for the keeper-to-strategy flow.

Responsibilities

StrategyManager registers strategies, computes ETH-denominated NAV, routes capital through the Controller, and settles performance fees by minting EVE to the DAO treasury.

Allocation and withdrawal weights

Governance sets separate depositWeight and withdrawalWeight values for each registered strategy. Each is an integer in 0..100. Zero excludes a strategy from the corresponding batch allocation. The values are relative weights; they need not sum to 100 and are not safety scores or priorities.

Deposit allocation also considers capacity, health, pause state, and deposit cooldown. Withdrawal capacity can prevent an allocation from being fully satisfied. Range-based operations use [startIndex, endIndex).

Only the Controller address registered under Auth.CONTROLLER can call routine deposit, withdrawal, rebalance, sync, and harvest entry points. Governance controls registration and weights.

totalNAVInETH() includes strategy NAVs, StrategyManager ETH, Controller ETH, AMM free ETH, and the oracle value of supported ERC-20 balances held by StrategyManager. It deducts in-window priced redemption liabilities. A required valuation failure propagates.

The AMM and performance-fee mint calculation use total EVE supply minus the matching priced escrow. See EVE & NAV for the full accounting model.

Removal and recovery

removeStrategy() requires reported NAV to be at most 10 wei and propagates a reverting NAV read. forceRemoveStrategy() can deregister a strategy despite a failed NAV read or remaining assets. It records the reported NAV or read failure in an event. Deregistration removes the strategy from accounting; it does not recover funds by itself.

Performance fees

The dated mainnet snapshot has a 15% rate, capped in code at 20%. Strategies report accrued LP trading fees in ETH terms. StrategyManager mints EVE to daoTreasury using feeETH × liveSupply / (NAV - feeETH). See Fees & costs.
